Flu (Influenza)

Influenza is a virus that causes fever, body aches, cough and sore throat.  It is spread by the cough and sneeze of someone infected or by contact with their secretions.  Getting vaccinated is the best prevention.

Flu clinics will be held in September and October at various sites in Putnam County.  Due to COVID-19 restrictions, ALL community clinics will be DRIVE-UP ONLY. The Influenza Vaccine Consent Form can be found below.  If you wish, you can print the form, complete it, and bring it with you to flu clinics.

Flu clinics scheduled to date (9.10.20):

Sept. 30  Ottawa Senior Center                        9:00-11:30 a.m.  and 1:00-3:30 p.m.

Oct. 3    Putnam County Health Dept.             7:00 – 10:00 a.m.

Oct. 15  Putnam County Council on Aging     2:00 – 7:00 p.m.

Oct. 22   Kalida Fire Station                               2:00 – 5:00 p.m.
