Putnam County students were challenged to create an Anti-Vaping art project. We had over 50 art submissions across the 8 Putnam County schools.  We had a lot of great art! Below are the 1^st, and 2^nd place winners’ projects with links to the 3^rd place winners’ s video.

The county wide winners are:

1^st Place:  Renae Boecker from Ottoville School District

2^nd Place: Ashlyn Ramey from Pandora-Gilboa School District

Title: “Do Not Inhale”

3^rd Place: Taylin Klinebriel, Jaileen Jimenez, Amilya Guerra, Sydney Wagler, and Lily Smith(Group submission) from Leipsic

During Red Ribbon Week in 2024, Mr. Brown, Mrs. Ansley and the Glandorf 7th grade Ecolizers performed an experiment from the ASSET Program to test the effects of vaping on model organisms. They created a video of their findings so click the link below to check out their results.

On April 10th, 2025, Sarah Nsiah had a chance to go on the Noon Edition with Hometown Stations in to promote the Youth Action Plan that the Putnam Youth Tobacco Awareness Coalition has been working on the past year. Click below to watch the video.
